Monitoring Under Your Brand — Turn a Cost Center Into a Revenue Channel
Agencies and hosting providers manage dozens of client servers, yet monitoring usually stays an invisible cost center. Server Monitor is multi-tenant and white-label from day one: your own client portals, branded status pages carrying your logo, and automated SLA PDF reports. Operations become a billable service under your own name.
The Agency Dilemma: Plenty of Client Servers, No Billable Service
If you run dozens of client servers as an agency or hosting provider, you know the pattern: monitoring hums along in the background, eats up tool licences and operational hours — yet never appears on a single client invoice. Clients keep asking "is my server up?", support tickets pile up, and manual patching swallows hours nobody pays for. Monitoring is pure overhead, not revenue.
There's a branding problem too: in front of your clients it's usually the third-party monitoring tool that shows up as the brand, not your agency. The operational work you put in stays invisible — and therefore hard to sell. What's missing is a platform that appears under your own brand and makes the value of the service visible to the end client.
Multi-Tenant and White-Label From Day One
Server Monitor is multi-tenant to the core: organizations, clients, and projects with role-based access are built into the data model — not bolted on afterwards. Every organization can get its own logo, its own colors, and its own language (locale). On the Enterprise tier, a white-label feature unlocks fully unbranded delivery.
A Dedicated Portal for Every Client
Each end client gets their own portal with servers, monitors, domains, reports, and a plan overview — across multiple areas. Clients see only their own environment, clearly laid out and entirely self-service. That noticeably lowers your support load: instead of fielding "is my server up?" requests, clients simply check for themselves.
Branded Status Pages Facing the World
On top of that, there are public, branded status pages per organization — reachable under their own slug and optionally password-protected. Visitors see the live status under your brand and can subscribe to incident updates (subscriber feature). A status page with your logo that shows live green builds trust on the outside — and positions your agency as a professional operator.
The Monthly Proof: Automated SLA PDF Reports
Server Monitor generates three premium report types as A4 PDFs — SLA, incident, and health reports, in German or English. They're scheduled via cron (daily, weekly, or monthly) and sent out automatically by email with a signed download link. The SLA target is configurable per tier and feeds directly into both the report and the email.
The business effect: every month a professional report carrying your logo lands in your client's inbox — the tangible "proof that everything ran". That's exactly what sells the value of your service, with no extra manual effort. Invisible operational work becomes a visible, billable service package.
White-Label Doesn't Mean Handing Over Your Data
Even in resale, the data architecture stays clean: tenants are separated at the database level, and operations run EU-hosted on Hetzner. Your clients — and their clients — benefit from GDPR compliance without you ever having to argue about US cloud transfers. For agencies with privacy-sensitive clients, that's a selling point in its own right.
That's how Server Monitor becomes a revenue channel for agencies and hosting providers: a branded managed-monitoring service that lowers support load, builds trust, and bills on a monthly basis.
